Technical Recruiter

In order to keep evolving in the technology space we are seeking a Technical Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience. They will be responsible for talent sourcing, attraction of candidates, interviewing, and hiring great employees within our software development organization. Our HR department is small but growing, so the person who fills this job will help shape the culture of our department and company.

A successful technical recruiter at AcreTrader will have the opportunity to grow their skills at each phase of the recruitment process. They will continue to develop and display strong communication, decision-making, attention to detail, presentation, and negotiation skills as they collaborate with department managers to build out the software development teams for each of our products. The technical recruiter will attract and retain strong talent by using their background to effectively vet technical skills for our Software Developer (Python, GoLang, Javascript), Technical Lead, Software Development Manager, Product Manager, UX/UI Designer, DevOps Engineer, and QA Engineer open positions..

Our ideal technical recruiter is passionate about technology and enjoys working closely with IT professionals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process
  • Collaborating with hiring managers within the technology/product organization to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Assisting with job posting and advertising processes for technical positions such as front end developers,, back end developers,, full stack developers, product managers, development managers, scrum master, etc.
  • Screening applications and selecting qualified candidates
  • Scheduling interviews; overseeing preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Assisting with the interview process; attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborating with hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process; identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Key Competencies/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical and/or human resources field
  • 3+ years of professional recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of technical recruiting experience successfully filling a variety of different roles within software development
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
  • Experience with job boards, and HR Software, databases, and management systems
  • Experience with Google Suite and MS Office softwares
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment at AcreTrader.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in a staffing agency (third party recruiting)
